Message from Mr. White ~ Buljan Principal

We hope this message finds you well and that your child has had a smooth start to the school year. We are excited to share some important information about our recent Buljan Strong Start program, which has laid the groundwork for a successful and enriching year ahead.

Buljan Strong Start Overview:

Our Buljan Strong Start program is designed to ensure that every student has a strong foundation for success by introducing them to key topics and behavior expectations right from the beginning of the school year.

What We Covered:

During Buljan Strong Start, we focused on essential topics that will help your child navigate their middle school experience effectively. Some of the critical areas we covered include:

  • Navigating Middle School Challenges: Building Resilience and Problem-Solving Skills

  • Recognizing Bullying & Harassment: Identifying and addressing bullying, harassment, and factors that contribute to them.

  • Managing Stress and Building Relationships: Developing strategies to manage stress and promote healthy relationships.

  • Values and Conflict Resolution: Exploring personal values, resolving conflicts, and fostering positive relationships.

Why It Matters:

By equipping our students with knowledge and skills related to these unit topics, we aim to create a safe, respectful, and supportive school community where everyone can thrive academically and socially. Our shared understanding and expectations will help us address any challenges that may arise and ensure a positive learning environment for all.

Your Role:

We encourage you to engage with your child about what they have learned during Buljan Strong Start, particularly within each unit. This conversation can further reinforce the valuable lessons and expectations introduced during the program.

We appreciate your partnership in your child's education and look forward to working together to make this school year a success. If you have any questions or would like additional information about Buljan Strong Start, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Thank you for entrusting us with your child's education, and here's to a fantastic year ahead!
