Buljan Parent/Guardian Survey 2023-2024

Dear Bulldog Parents and Guardians,

As we near the end of the school year, we value your feedback more than ever. Your insights help us develop and implement a school site plan with the goal of continuous improvement.

Please take a few minutes to complete this anonymous survey and help us get better at what we do. Your feedback is essential to our success, and we appreciate your time and honest opinions.

As a token of appreciation, we have included a raffle link at the end of this survey for a chance to win a Family Dinner Gift Card. Celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week at Buljan Middle School!

CA Student Mental Health Week - May 13-17th: Next week, May 13-17, Buljan will be celebrating California Student Mental Health Week!  This week recognizes the importance mental health plays in students’ lives, their experiences in school, and in their future.


Our Wellness Team will be hosting daily lunchtime activities related to the daily themes in the graphic below. 



If you are interested in learning about supporting your student and their mental health, NAMI provides an excellent article on how to talk to your student about their mental health. This Daily Stress Management Plan (coping skills) published by MindWise shares some excellent coping skills as well. The graphic featured below is a parent schedule that mirrors the student schedule (shown above) so that you can participate in the CA Student Mental Health week with your student!

  California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress English, Math, and Science Parent and Guardian Notification Letter  Dear Parent/Guardian: There are many ways to measure your child’s learning. Your child’s teacher uses report card grades, classroom work, teacher observations, and end-of-year statewide test results to get a complete picture of your child’s learning. Happy New Year Buljan Families,  It was so great to have our students back on campus with their smiling faces, greeting friends and ready to make 2024 a successful year! We invite you to join Buljan’s Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) Team. Your input is vital in promoting positive behavior, creating a safe environment, and implementing effective strategies. Meeting monthly on Wednesdays from 2:30-3:30, we discuss and collaborate on PBIS initiatives. Your perspective as a parent is invaluable, contributing to the success of our program.
