February 5th Blog Update

Hell o  Buljan  Families,  Tuesday we are going to practice our  lockdown  drill. A  lockdown  is called when there is a threat or hazard inside the school campus. The language used is “ lockdown , locks, lights, out of sight.” The action requires ensuring doors are locked, moving students and staff out of the line of sight from windows, turning off all lights, and remaining quiet.   We practice drills to help build muscle memory in the event of a true emergency, and we practice in order for our school to identify gaps and areas of improvement.  For more information about our safety procedures, please check out the  safety information  on our district website.
