Happy May,

This weekend our Drama students put on an amazing production of Alice and Wonderland. The performance was truly a spectacle to behold. The students poured their hearts and souls into their roles, and it showed in their captivating performances. The costumes, set design, and lighting all came together beautifully to create an immersive experience for the audience. Bravo to our Buljan Drama students.


It's CAASPP Test Time. Below is our testing schedule. 
5/1-5/3: ELA CAT 
5/4-5/5: ELA PT
5/8-5/10: Math CAT
5/11-5/12: Math PT
5/15-5/19: Make-ups for students that were absent. 
Please remind your student to charge their chromebook at night, and place it in their backpack in the morning with the charger. It's important they eat a good breakfast, and lunch. As a reminder we provide breakfast starting at 7:45am if your child wants to get here to eat before school. A good nights sleeps is also important for all students every night but also before a test. Thank you for your support in your child's education.  

Counseling Corner: 

Students in 8th grade will participate in the second of two Transition to High School lessons this week in their Social Studies classes. The lessons will cover setting goals, managing the stress of transitioning to high school, and hearing from current high school students about how to be successful in high school. 

Upcoming: Buljan Middle School will celebrate Student Mental Health Week May 8-12th with lunchtime activities, bulletin announcements, and a participation raffle that celebrates taking care of our mental health and promoting healthy coping strategies!


We are thrilled to announce that Buljan Middle School boasts three winners of our Roseville City School District 2023 Employee/Teacher of the Year awards. These employees embody our district and site values and make a significant difference in the lives of our students every day.

October 22 Blog Update

We had a great week at Buljan. We have many clubs for students to join during lunch. Here is a picture of our Weight Lifting club that students can join during lunch. Mr. White our teacher has students come in to teach them about proper form and technique.  This week we're highlighting our Computer Science class and Project Lead the Way class, which are two electives we offer. Computer Science students are creating skate board parks on the computers.  Project Lead the Way is on the VR headsets as they navigate how to move through the virtual world.  The last highlight of the week was the energy in the gym during our pink and green house head to head rally on Friday.  Join Us for the Halloween "Fright Night" Dance!
