Happy May Bulldog Families,

Students have been busy focusing on CAASPP testing. This week students will be completing the Math portion. Thank you for reminding your child to bring their charged Chromebook to school each day. 

Today starts Staff Appreciation Week, which is a great time to acknowledge the teachers and staff who have been helping your child learn and grow every day. There is a theme each day for students and families to show teachers and any other staff members your child works with how much you appreciate them. Participation is completely optional, but encouraged! 
Monday: Students email your teacher a funny (but appropriate!) meme and tell them what you like most about them, or why you appreciate them. 
Tuesday: Bring a flower from your garden or the store for each one of your teachers. 
Wednesday: Complete this Appreciation Google Form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfJrG5AmEwWrjJr-PvATdb1Ryqaw9LX8eqRMHEXUtUi_uLGEA/viewform?usp=sf_link 
Thursday: Have your child make a special card, drawing, or note for each of their teachers. 
Friday: Bring a special food treat to your teachers.

Reminder for Returning Student Registraition: If you have not yet completed a Returning Student Registration for the upcoming 2022-23 school year, please take a moment to log in to PowerSchool and complete the Returning Student Registration for your Buljan student. We are planning for an amazing 2022-23 school year and registration is critical to ensuring we have an accurate student count in order to plan for the resources and teaching staff we will need to support all of our students.

October 22 Blog Update

We had a great week at Buljan. We have many clubs for students to join during lunch. Here is a picture of our Weight Lifting club that students can join during lunch. Mr. White our teacher has students come in to teach them about proper form and technique.  This week we're highlighting our Computer Science class and Project Lead the Way class, which are two electives we offer. Computer Science students are creating skate board parks on the computers.  Project Lead the Way is on the VR headsets as they navigate how to move through the virtual world.  The last highlight of the week was the energy in the gym during our pink and green house head to head rally on Friday.  Join Us for the Halloween "Fright Night" Dance!
